Mahmoud Yaqout

I’m Mahmoud Yaqout, a Junior SOC Analyst working across threat hunting, incident response, digital forensics, and malware analysis. I’m interested in understanding how attacks unfold, what evidence they leave behind, and how that evidence can be turned into useful detections and investigations.

Most of my experience comes from hands-on blue-team labs, security projects, CTFs, and building tools around SOC and malware analysis. I’ve worked with Splunk, ELK, network analysis, endpoint investigation, IOC enrichment, and incident-response workflows.

I play CTFs with Pwnd0k, mainly focusing on DFIR and blue-team-oriented challenges. 0x7ouda is where I document my research, investigations, tools, writeups, and the things I learn along the way.
